One of these draws the map. The other answers the phone.

Maptive is for looking at data on a map: plot a hundred thousand points, heat map them, draw territories, and decide something. MapLogics is for the question a form or a call centre asks a thousand times a day. They are both good at their own job and neither is a substitute.

What Maptive is

A browser-based mapping and analysis tool. Territory management is one of the tools in it.

What it says it does, in its own terms:

  • Unlimited maps and all 60+ mapping and analysis tools on every paid plan
  • Up to 100,000 markers per data set
  • API access included from the Pro plan
  • A 45 day pass, for work with an end date

Published pricing

  • 45 Day Pass, $250 for 45 days, 1 user
  • Pro, $1,250/year or $110/mo billed monthly, 1 user, additional users $750 each
  • Team, $2,500/year or $220/mo billed monthly, 5 users, additional users $500 each
  • Enterprise, custom, 10+ users

Who reads the output

That is the whole distinction, and it is worth being blunt about. Maptive's output is a map that a person looks at. Ours is an answer that a system consumes: a website form deciding whether to accept a booking, a CRM deciding which branch owns a lead, a call centre script deciding what to say next.

If a human is going to look at the result and think about it, you want an analysis tool. If the result has to be right without anybody looking, you want a decision engine with a reason attached to every answer.

Seats against decisions

Maptive charges per user: one on Pro, five on Team, extra seats priced individually. MapLogics charges on the size of the network and does not count seats at all, because charging per seat pushes teams to share logins and keeps the people who understand the territories out of the tool.

Which is cheaper depends entirely on your shape. Two people who want a map are better served by their Pro plan than by anything we sell. Nine people who each need to see the same territory map, plus a website that has to answer, is where per-seat stops being the cheaper idea.

The 45 day pass is worth calling out separately. Almost nobody sells software by the project, and if your territory work has an end date, that is a genuinely good fit that we do not offer.

What we do not do

No heat maps, no demographic overlays, no clustering, no route planning between stops, and nothing like sixty tools. MapLogics has one output and spends its complexity on making that output explainable rather than on making it visual.

We also will not plot a hundred thousand markers for you to look at. Batch runs answer a hundred thousand addresses and hand back a file; that is a different thing from a map you can pan around.

When to choose Maptive

These are real. A comparison page where the other product never wins has told you nothing except that we wrote it.

  • The job is analysis: plotting a hundred thousand points, heat mapping them, and drawing conclusions.
  • You have a project with an end date. A 45 day pass is a shape almost nobody else sells.
  • One or two people need the map and nobody needs an answer at an address on every enquiry.

The honest way to decide

Point both at your own addresses. Ours answers a real one without an account on the free lookup, and the trial takes no card, so the comparison costs you an afternoon rather than a procurement cycle.
