Terms of use

Last updated August 2026

These are the terms on which you may use MapLogics. They are written to be read, and they say what we do not commit to as well as what we do.

The agreement

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you are confirming you may bind it.

What the service is

MapLogics answers questions about addresses: which of your locations covers one, whether work there is serviceable, and why. It is a tool that applies the configuration you give it.

The answers are only as good as the configuration and the geocoding behind them. Boundaries you draw, rules you write and capabilities you record are yours. Geocoding uses third-party data that is imperfect, particularly for rural addresses, new developments and addresses outside the United States. Decisions with legal, financial or safety consequences should be checked by a person.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in address secure. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
  • API keys are shown once and are yours to protect. Revoke one in Settings the moment you think it has leaked; it stops working immediately.
  • You are responsible for what people you invite to your organisation do in it.

Your data

What you load into MapLogics stays yours. We process it to run the service and for nothing else: we do not sell it, we do not use it to train anything, and we do not use one customer's configuration to inform another's.

You may export your configuration and delete it at any time. The privacy page sets out what is kept and for how long.

You must have the right to send us the addresses you send. If they identify people, you are the controller and we are the processor.

What you may not do

  • Resell or redistribute the resolution service as if it were your own product.
  • Attempt to extract the underlying boundary datasets in bulk, or use the service primarily as a geocoder.
  • Probe, load-test or attack the service without asking us first. Ask; we will say yes.
  • Use it to do something illegal, or to discriminate unlawfully against anybody.

Availability

There is no uptime commitment today. The service runs on Cloudflare's network and is built to stay up, but we do not currently offer a service level agreement, credits for downtime, or a guaranteed support response time. If you need those before you can rely on it, talk to us rather than assuming.

We may change or withdraw features. Where a change would break a working integration we will give notice to account owners first.

Fees

Where a paid plan applies, fees and what they cover are as stated when you subscribe. Prices can change with notice before a renewal, never mid-term.

Ending it

You can stop using MapLogics and delete your organisation whenever you like. We may suspend an account that is being used in the ways listed above, or that is not paying for a paid plan, and we will tell you why.

On termination you can export your configuration before it is deleted.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on an answer without the checking that answer warranted. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We will tell account owners by email before a material change takes effect, rather than only changing the date at the top of this page.

Contact

Questions about any of this go to hello@maplogics.com, and a person will answer.
